[ ... Wait. Kunsel's typing suddenly changed. It caused Cloud to pause for a moment, studying the message he received, and before his fingers started moving over the keyboard again, the familiar voice rang from his tablet.

Huh-- oh.

Of course that was Zack.

Well, it looks as though there was no longer a need for texting ( as much as Cloud would have liked to continue the conversation like that ) so he reluctantly switches over to audio as well. ]

But— [ There's really no valid argument he can make at the moment, not when the two strongest people he knows are going to look for her. Still, there's a bit of sadness to his tone. ] ... I just... want to make sure she's safe.

[ Yeah, okay. That works a bit better. He even takes enough of a hint to just hand the tablet back to its rightful owner now that he can talk into it anyway.

He hears that touch of melancholy to his tone. Another small reminder of that night back at Nibelheim. But... ]

Zack knows the house she woke up in. [Kunsel's going to chip his two gil in.] He can find it faster than anyone else and we're closer. Then we can head straight to meet back up with you guys. You'll see her soon enough.

[ Can you hear how defeated Cloud sounds? Can you? But there's a small huff of air on the other end, a tiny exasperated sigh before he speaks up again. ]

I'll leave it up to you two, then. Make sure you're safe out there... okay?

[ The last thing he needs is three people to worry after... not that he wasn't doing that already. ]

[ He hears it. And- okay, now, he feels kinda bad. But... Someone has to keep the other two afloat. Who better than Cloud? So, he nods on this end although the young man on the other end can't see. ]
